Terms and procedures to request Salary Increases.

1. Salary Increase Request Process
1.1 Fill Out the Salary Increase Request Form
The client must complete a separate form for each salary increase request. This form can be accessed by contacting your Account Manager.
The form requires the following details:
Employee’s full name.
Proposed new salary.
Effective date of the salary increase.
Justification for the adjustment (e.g., performance, role changes).
1.2 Approval & Payment Process
Once the form is submitted and reviewed, Courtpals, LLC will provide a confirmation of the requested changes and a secure payment link for any associated fees.
The salary increase will only take effect once the client has approved and completed the payment.
Payment of the difference in salary for the current pay cycle (if applicable) must be completed at least 10 business days before the next payroll cycle.
1.3 Effective Date of the Salary Increase
Salary increases will take effect in the next payroll cycle following the completion of the payment and the processing of the request.
2. Important Conditions
2.1 Tax Compliance
All salary increases are subject to income tax and other mandatory deductions as required by local labor laws.
Courtpals, LLC ensures that these deductions are accurately applied, so employees receive their adjusted net salary in compliance with local regulations.
2.2 Administrative Fees
An administrative one-time fee applies to salary increases to cover the processing and adjustment of payroll systems:
- Increases up to $100/month: Flat fee of $50 USD.
- Increases between $101-$300/month: 5% of the increase amount.
- Increases over $301/month: 3% of the increase amount.
2.3 Minimum Notice Requirement
Salary increase requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the next payroll cycle to allow sufficient time for processing.
Requests submitted with less than 10 business days’ notice may result in the increase being applied to the subsequent payroll cycle.
2.4 Documentation Requirements
If the salary increase is related to a promotion, additional responsibilities, or performance, supporting documentation may be required. Examples include performance reviews or updated job descriptions.
3. Courtpals, LLC Handling & Disbursement
3.1 Calculation & Payroll Adjustment
Courtpals, LLC will adjust the employee’s salary in the payroll system to reflect the new amount, including applicable deductions for taxes and benefits.
3.2 Disbursement to Employee
Upon receiving the adjusted payment from the client, Courtpals, LLC will process and disburse the new salary amount to the employee.
3.3 Confirmation & Breakdown
Once the salary increase has been processed, the client will receive:
A confirmation of the new salary details.
An invoice with the new salary calculated, including taxes and benefits.
4. Compliance with Local Labor Laws
Courtpals, LLC ensures that all salary adjustments comply with the labor laws and regulations in the employee’s country of residence.
