Terms and procedures to request Additional Employee Benefits.

1. Additional Employee Benefits Request Process
1.1 Fill Out the Benefits Request Form
The client must complete a separate form for each benefit request. This form can be accessed by contacting your Account Manager.
The form requires the following details:
Employee’s full name(s).
The benefit(s) requested (e.g., health insurance upgrade, wellness programs, training, etc.).
Effective date for the benefit(s).
Justification for the request (if applicable).
1.2 Approval & Payment Process
Once the form is submitted, Courtpals, LLC will provide a confirmation of the requested benefits and a secure payment link for any associated fees.
The requested benefit will only be applied once payment is completed and the benefit provider confirms enrollment.
Payments for benefits must be completed at least **10 business days before the next payroll cycle** to ensure timely application.
1.3 Effective Date of the Benefits
- Additional benefits will be activated starting from the next payroll cycle after the payment and processing are completed.
2. Types of Additional Employee Benefits
Courtpals offers a range of optional employee benefits that can be added to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Examples include:
Health Insurance Upgrades: Coverage for family members, dental, or vision care.
Wellness Programs: Gym memberships, mental health support, or wellness stipends.
Professional Development: Training programs, courses, or certifications.
Savings & Investment Plans: Contributions to retirement savings or investment funds.
Extra Paid Leave: Additional vacation or personal days.
IMPORTANT: Each country and region has different Employee Benefits available, please contact your Account Manager to request the full list of Additional Employee Benefits available per employee according to their country and region of residence.
3. Important Conditions
3.1 Eligibility Requirements
Certain benefits may require a minimum number of employees to be eligible. Your Account Manager will inform you of these thresholds if applicable.
3.2 Tax Compliance
Additional benefits may be subject to taxation in the employee’s country of residence. Courtpals, LLC will advise on any tax implications and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
3.3 Administrative Fees
An administrative one-time fee applies for managing and implementing additional benefits:
Benefits up to $100/month: Flat fee of $50 USD.
Benefits between $101-$300/month: 5% of the benefit cost.
Benefits over $301/month: 3% of the benefit cost.
3.4 Documentation Requirements
For certain benefits, additional documentation may be required, such as employee consent forms or detailed job descriptions.
3.5 Minimum Notice Requirement
Benefit requests must be submitted at least 15 business days before the next payroll cycle to allow sufficient processing time. Late submissions may result in delays or the benefit being applied in the subsequent cycle.
4. Courtpals, LLC Handling & Disbursement
4.1 Benefit Enrollment
Courtpals, LLC will coordinate with the benefit provider to ensure the employee(s) are enrolled in the requested programs.
4.2 Payroll Adjustments
Any payroll adjustments related to the new benefit will be processed and reflected in the employee’s payslip.
4.3 Confirmation & Breakdown
The client will receive a confirmation once the benefit has been successfully activated, along with a breakdown of associated costs, including administrative fees and applicable taxes.
All additional benefits will be implemented in accordance with the labor laws and regulations of the employee’s country of residence.
