• Profile photos you choose to upload
• Photos and documents you attach to hearings, tickets, or time-off
• A push notification token for this device, if you turn alerts on

Mobile app

The Courtpals iOS and Android apps collect only what is needed to run your account: sign-in, profile details, work you submit, and optional push alerts. The apps do not use the Advertising Identifier, do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and do not sell your data. Camera and photo library access are used only when you pick a profile photo or attach a file. Location is not collected from the device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your transactions and send related information
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Protect against fraudulent or illegal activity

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• To protect our rights and prevent fraud
• With service providers who assist in our operations (including Stripe for payments, Supabase for hosting, Expo for app delivery and push, and Resend for email). Those providers are required to protect user data at a level consistent with this policy and applicable law.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You can delete your account in the Courtpals app under Account, then Settings, then Delete my account, or by emailing support@courtpals.com. Deletion removes your profile and sign-in. We may keep records required for legal, billing, or professional obligations.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to processing of your information
• Export your data

7. Cookies and Tracking

The courtpals.com website may use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. The Courtpals mobile apps do not use cookies or advertising tracking. Turning off optional push alerts in Settings stops further push tokens from this device.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
