RELIVE AILA'S 75TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE WITH COURTPALS -
As part of our daily efforts to fulfill our mission to make your life as a lawyer easier and become the solution you can turn to confident that will help you overcome any challenge that’s in front of you, we decided to attend the 2022 AILA Annual Conference on Immigration Law.
Over the course of four exciting days (June 15th to June 18th) at the Javits Center in New York City, we…
Connected with over 200 solo practitioners and law firms of all sizes.
And answered your most burning questions, of which we captured a list of the most frequent ones:
Q: How does the pricing work to hire a remote assistant with Courtpals?
A: We charge monthly.
Q: The assistant contract is like the one I’d have with a freelance paralegal?
A: No, we only work with six-month and one-year contracts. And they can be either for a full-time or part-time assistant. This system allows us to provide a
100% satisfaction guarantee to you
As these are sufficient time periods for our check-ins to corroborate if the person we provided you with is meeting your goals as expected.
Q: What happens if the assistant Courtpals provided is not working out for me?
A: It is very unlikely that it happens, however, in the event that the assistant we provided you with is not working out well for you, we will train a new one and provide it to you as soon as possible, at no extra charge. That’s our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Q: How well trained will my remote assistant be?
A: The more detail you provide on what you’d like them to be trained in, the better your Courtpals assistant will be trained.
Q: In which skills Courtpals remote assistants will be pre-trained?
A: Anything you need. Legal writing, motion drafting, digital marketing, community management, billing, payroll, setting up client appointments, fill-out government applications, document collection, organizing your agenda and electronic files, and more.
Q: Are Courtpals remote assistants US-based?
A: For a long time, we were all US-based only, but now that we have expanded, we are now based all over the world, to be able to provide you with an option of multilingual assistants.

Q: Do you write your declarations with a survey?
A: We do ask you to fill out a form with your client's contact information, documents, and intake notes you’d like us to use to write the declaration consistently, but we don’t stop there. We call your client, set the appointment to take the declaration over the phone with an interpreter already in place, if needed, and deliver it to you, court-ready. We ask questions to your client over the phone that go beyond a simple survey.
We interview your client and delve deep into what will help you have a strong case.
Q: Do you charge more for declarations if it’s hard to find hardship for a case?
A: No. Our teams are experts in finding hardship elements in your clients’ biography and, if you’d like us to focus on certain elements you noticed prior, you can let us know and our teams will place their focus on those elements.
Q: Do you charge more for the interpreter and the translation of the declaration?
A: No.
Our declaration-taking service is a very complete, wrap-around service.
Our flat fee includes the interpreter and one last review of the declaration made by an immigration attorney. This fee is regardless of the language and regardless of the hours we spend working on your client’s declaration. A real deal!
Q: How many languages do you have available to take declarations in?
A: Check out the list of languages available by clicking here. We can work with up to 160 languages!
Q: How does pricing work for the declaration-taking service?
A: Here’s our pricing list with all benefits detailed.
